Ven. Sherab Rinpoche Visit in August 2024

Ven. Sherab Rinpoche

Gaden Samdrupling Monastery is honored to host Ven. Sherab Rinpoche, who will offer teachings and initiation. In these turbulent times, amidst a world full of distractions, we experience stress, anxiety, and emotional breakdowns due to our inability to keep our minds calm and focused. Meditation helps us train the mind to remain peacefully and uninterruptedly in a stable state of one-pointed concentration over an extended period of time. This enhances productivity in dharma practice and other activities, reduces stress, and brings peace and calmness. Through consistent practice of Calm-Abiding meditation, the mind can gradually be tamed, becoming clear and completely free of agitation.

In this course, you will learn how to meditate and focus. Everyone is welcome to join us; no previous knowledge of Buddhism is required. This course is recommended for beginners.
